The team at Amano have out done themselves yet again! With the massive upgrades at their new location they will teleport you to a different world with the vibe of the dining experience, the taste of the food, and the delicious drinks! I swear it took me back to some of my most memorable trips visiting Mexico.

We went to Amano for Cinco de Mayo and to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We made a reservation, which I highly recommend you do. Otherwise, there can be quite a wait. Parking in Indian Creek Plaza was difficult, so plan extra time in case parking is troublesome. The food here was delicious! We had the carne asada platter and got to eat cactus! Which was interesting. They make their own tortillas in-house. And the Tres leches Cake is the best in Canyon County - they infuse it with lavender. The atmosphere is bougie and upscale. They took a Polaroid for my friend as a birthday momento, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend Amano if you're looking for upscale fine-dining Mexican food. Their mole is absolutely divine.

The experience was amazing! My partner and I were almost losing hope in finding authentic Mexican food in Idaho till we came here. We had 3 different tacos and two desserts. All very delicious! I recommend this place to anyone wanting true authentic flavors. The pineapple habanero salsa is a must with your tacos. Salsa’s were not complementary with the food which was a little disappointing but I’m glad our server made it right and gave us a free scoop of salsa.

I cannot have enough Amano. It's no exaggeration that me and my family all come here for each of our birthdays and it has always been worth it. The owner was nice enough to come out and greet us on my most recent birthday and he was incredibly gracious along with the staff. I imagine this is the best Hispanic cuisine around Idaho but also rivals anywhere I've been in San Diego. Their mole, tacos, and desserts we get the most. A family favorite is their esquites, lavender tres leches, carne asada, El amano cocktail, birria tacos, and pudin de maíz. Keep it up!

This is not your typical Mexican cuisine. And I mean this in the best way possible. I love authentic Mexican food, and enjoy many of the Mexican restaurants in and around the area. This is on another level though. It’s Chef Ramsay level of cuisine. Unbelievably good on all accounts. I’ve now eaten here on two different occasions, one time was take out, the other I dinned in. The food was excellent both times and the atmosphere of the dine-in experience was top notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a fine dining experience. Be prepared to spend some money though as the meals are quite expensive, worth every penny IMO.

For anyone who thinks Mexican food should only be cheap street fare, you're missing out on the generational recipes the moms and grandmas still spend days preparing from local ingredients, slow-simmered sauces and hand-rolled tortillas. This is what Amano stands for: by hand. Literally. So if you are incapable of appreciating the effort and care they take to put every dish on the table, leave this gem for those of us who do. Amano is a treasure. Don't miss the unique dishes available at brunch, as well. The French toast is a delight! The creative cocktails are a journey all their own, too!

This place is a gem! The vibe is so tranquil with plants everywhere and low pools of light. The servers are exceptional, the bathrooms are clean- they even have the thick , soft paper towels as well as nice smelling hand soap and lotion. The drinks are so good, expensive unless it's happy hour but really good. We got the guacamole to start, it was so fresh and packed with interesting flavor. The chips were fresh and homemade too. My husband got carnitas , which are his favorite. He said that they were better than his favorite restaurant's carnitas The meat was so tender, the rice so fluffy and the refried beans were just perfect I got the birria tacos and the tacos were perfectly crisp with little pieces of fried cheese. The meat was so tender and there was such a good ratio of meat to cheese. The consome was the best I've ever had, so full of flavor without overdoing it. Our bill for 2 drinks, app and 2 plates of food with tip was 130.00 so it won't be a 'go-to' place but definitely for celebrations and such
